Cut Paper Painting

  • Treehaus Studio 1017 N Cascade Street Osceola United States (map)

Join us in the studio for a fun and enjoyable workshop where we will turn ordinary scraps of paper into captivating images full of depth, texture, and personal stories. This collage method is easy to learn and accessible, even if you have limited space, and it repurposes scrap paper. If you're looking for a way to relax and unleash your creativity, this workshop is perfect for you.

During the workshop, each participant will have the opportunity to create a variety of hand-painted papers for their final piece using an assortment of mediums, including watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils, oil pastels, acrylic paint markers, and more. We will explore intuitive mark-making, patterns, and textures throughout this creative process.

Here’s what you’ll do in the workshop:

  1. Plan your final 18” x 24” composition.

  2. Create a stack of hand-painted papers to use.

  3. Cut your pieces and mount them.

  4. Glaze the final piece.
